New season of Union Square Live begins with expanded program

MJMMG, the Union Square Business Improvement District and Union Square Live recently announced the programming schedule for 2012 Union Square Live events in Union Square Park located in downtown San Francisco.

Now in its eight year, Union Square Live (formerly Jewels in the Square) will present its largest and most diverse programming season yet with weekly, free, live music, dance, movies, circus arts and other entertainment from April 18 through October 30, 2012. Aa a cultural center and tourist mecca, Union Square Park is the perfect public space to experience the rich diversity and cultural history of San Francisco.

Union Square Live highlights include music, art, dance, film and much more. Artists and groups including Dance-a-Vision, Picklewater Free Circus, Trio Garufa, Anna Halprin’s Planetary Dance, Danse Luniere and many more will presenting vibrant shows that include participants and visitors.
