As Security Director at MJMMG, Robert plans directs and coordinates activities relating to the protection, safeguarding, and security of employees, invitees, assets, and others in three, open public spaces in San Francisco.

He also directs and coordinates, through subordinate and/or contractor personnel, MJMMG’s activities and security functions, utilizing knowledge of established policies, procedures and practices in order to develop preventative security programs. He also serves as our liaison with public law enforcement, fire, and other agencies as it relates to security for personnel or at facilities.

One of Roberts key roles is the design of security programs for the community, civic events, and high-end private corporate events. He also serves as the first point of contact for security professionals regarding performance, operations, emergency response activities, and department needs.

Robert joined MJMMG in 2019. Prior to that, he worked as Facility Security Officer in Global Security Operations at the Public Health Institute. While there he managed facility security programs, performed audits to maintain DOD compliance while developing and administering Insider Threat Programs with annual refresher training for all staff with security clearance.

As a Security Specialist with the California Army National Guard Rapid Response Team, Robert performed monthly inventories on sensitive items of all assigned equipment, maintain the qualification of assigned systems, and provided continuous training for tactical security operations for natural disaster preparedness, state emergency response, mass evacuations and casualty response. He has also worked with Allied Barton Security Services as a Site Supervisor of commercial and high-rise residential facilities.
