MJMMG is an expert in the formation of special assessment districts, in which property owners agree to pay assessments for additional services that might include cleaning, safety, maintenance, greening or marketing.
As Jim Chappell from MJMMG shared with the attendees of the conference, identifying alternative funding sources for these types of improvements is especially important following the demise of California’s redevelopment agencies last year.
